Get ready for your fun and free intro to improv at Pan Theater!
Bring your friends and your sense of humor. This month, Pan is offering free trial sessions of the Improv Dojo (usually $20 a class).
The Dojo is a mixed-level, beginner-friendly improv class in Oakland.
It’s your chance to try improv comedy with no risk.
We guarantee it will be delightful. Your first class is free for you and a friend.
During class, you'll learn improv games, make new friends, laugh a bit, and see if improv is right for you.
For example, you might try a playful "Yes, And..." game that gets everyone thinking on their feet and laughing together.

HOW WE KNOW THIS CLASS WORKS
Most of our Improv Dojo students come back for more. Some retake the Dojo for extra practice.
Others move on to classes like Improv 101: Games and Fun or Improv from the Heart. (Fun fact: 80% of students surveyed return for another class!)

HOW TO GET TO YOUR IMPROV COURSE IN OAKLAND
Pan Theater is just 30 seconds from BART and 2 minutes from the downtown Oakland AC bus stop. This is the beginner improv class in Oakland you’ve been searching for, also known as an Oakland improv workshop or Oakland improv course.
IS IT REALLY FREE?
Yes! Your first class is 100% free. Classes are normally $20 per person.
