Pan Theater

IMPROV 101: The Art of Being Real
In this class, you'll stop "performing" and start living inside the scene — listening deeply, responding honestly, and feeling what you actually feel.

The secret? The truth is funny. When you stop trying to get a laugh and start telling the truth, the audience connects — and the laughs come naturally. Whether you're a total beginner or a veteran looking for the next layer, you'll build the instincts that make great improv feel effortless, alive, and genuinely hilarious.

WHY PAN?
Thousands of students have studied at Pan through the years. Most are focused on bringing the lessons of improv into their lives off stage. Some use improv as a launching pad for exploring theater, standup or related arts.

Pan students have gone on to MFA programs, theater conservatories such as the Neighborhood Playhouse, launched their own theaters and groups, or joined the standup circuit.
